Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Chief Stewardess to join a 38m private motor yacht based in the Fort Lauderdale area, with frequent cruising to the Bahamas. This is a permanent position suited to a hands-on leader who can manage the interior to a high standard while maintaining a warm, guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all interior operations, ensuring exceptional standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation
• Lead, train, and manage interior crew, fostering a positive and professional team culture
• Plan and execute guest service, including table settings, theme nights, and events onboard
• Manage provisioning, inventory, and interior budgeting
• Maintain strong attention to detail across housekeeping and service
• Coordinate closely with the Captain and Chef to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Handle laundry, detailing, and upkeep of all interior areas
• Ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in yachting
• At least 2 years in a Chief Stewardess or similar senior interior role
• Experience on similar-sized vessels preferred (30m–50m range)
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• High standard of service and attention to detail
• Confident in guest interaction with a professional and discreet approach
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Fluent in English
• Valid STCW, ENG1, and all relevant certifications
